My shot "Surreal Vacuming" placed 11th in the Faceless challenge. I got some great comments and a appreciate that. Thanks to all of you. Some people thought it would be better with a face and I agree. I'm thinking about making a series of these surreal shots. I took one for my self portrait project.
Here is the shot for the Facelss challenge:
Here is the same shot with the face included:
Here is my other surreal shot. I'm thinking about shooting it again with a pretty girl instead of me :):

That's not an iron, they are Cheerios. Oh, you mean that thing in his hand? Oh, THAT's an iron .... I always wondered what one of those looked like ;p

Neat shots, and you must have a very understanding model!
I suspect it wasn't really the right weather for a summer dress judging by the snow on the hills in the background.
I notice you didn't do your ironing in winter though... :-).
Cheers, Me.

Wonderful shots!
I prefer the vacuming with the face of course, although I liked your challenge entry very much.
As for the ironing, which is the best of this series IMO - it wouldn't be as good with a girl doing the ironing. I think that one of this picture's strongest aspect is the fact that the ironing is done by a guy. But afterall, this is just my personal opinion.
You should Cheeriose up though... ;-)

I think the one without the head is much more interesting, even if I don't consider it was for the Faceless challenge. |

I prefer the headless version...and like I said in my comments on your shot, if I had any money, I'd buy this print. It's fabulous!

Yes, definatly put use a pretty model, the same model. The cropped is the more artistic of the two, but it seems a shame to exclude even a little of her from the shot.

=) Didn't see this during voting, but i like them. I generally like surreal, out of place and mixed up shots. Very cool. |
