OK, so I forgot yesterday -- not in the habit yet -- so you get two today.

Tip #1: Regardless of the post-processing software you use, learn that program's shortcut keys. If you don't know to use ctrl+c and ctrl+v to copy and paste, LEARN THEM. Another important one to remember is ctrl+z to undo. (ctrl+alt+z in Photoshop lets you go back through your history states one step at a time.) This will save you enormous amounts of time over both the short and long terms.

Tip #2: Silica gel (that stuff that comes in shoe boxes looking like sugar packets) is your friend. Keeping a packet or two in your camera bag will help keep the moisture levels down. When you're sticking the camera in a ziplock to come in from the cold, you can put a bag of silica gel in there with it to suck some of the moisture out of the air (and out of the camera). You do need to keep an eye on them, however. The last thing you want is for one of the bags to get a hole in it and start spreading the "sand" around your bag...
