I bought my digital rebel used and the person I bought from could not find the original software that was with the camera. I tried the canon website but in order to do any of the updates you have to have the original software. I am wondering if there is anyone who could make an iso image of it and or copy it to CD or has a link to get the software.

Is there any specific reason you want the software? There is free software on the web that is much better than what you get from canon :)

For viewing and stuff, Irfanview ( //www.irfanview.com/ ) is a very popular choice.

I tried the software driver but and it installs no problems, it connects my rebel but when I try to view pictures from it on import pics using any software it says that the camera is not present. I've been using a reader but it would be nice to just connect the camera via cable to transfer rather than remove things and install things. Running windows xp sp2 |

I looked up and down the internet. I cant get the software anywhere I finally called Canon and they want 29.95 + 6.00 shipping plus sales tax for software they have already sold once to the original owner. Thats ridiculous I think as they the license is already been sold once they shouldnt be making more money on it. I wouldnt mind paying for shipping if I didnt have to pay for a whole new license. |
