With prices of flash mamory dropping I am interested in buying some more CF cards (never can have enough I guess) But there are so many different brands and those brands have different cards... so my question here:

Does anybody know a good site about memory, with some tests about speed etc... ????

Advice: Find a brand name card, like Lexar or Sandisc, with a high writing speed.. I have some 12X that are horrendously slow. Although they're really cheap.

I use Sandisk's Ultra II brand and I've had good luck with those. I can take about 4 pics in raw so its not too bad. I would check out web sites and see the write and read speeds.

Check out reviews on the Lexar 80X 1 GIG Professional CF card. I got it due to the fast write time. If you are going to snap off a few shots and need the speed then this is the card for you. I got mine for the Daytona 500 and all the races that week.

Off topic, but do you have any photos online? : )

Not yet, but will soon. Got over 4 thousand just no time to touch up and organize. My Squadron has had me real busy latley.

Back to the Memory and the 80X Lexar. I'm snapping 10 frame burst of my squadron's F-15's on take off. Got some great shots of the grand daughter in a pool splashing and freezing water droplets in mid air. Snapping a burst makes a better chance of catching the right shot.
