I have heard of people renting cameras and / or lenses for a reasonable amount. I was wondering if anyone has done this and if so, where they rent these items from. I would like to do a few shots that would require lenses that I do not have, nor have any desire to buy. |

I rented a lens two weeks ago for $25 a day! Canadian! AND it was the Canon 70-200L F2.8 so we're talking a retail of $1800.00. They just handed it over to me after I gave them my cc number as security (little did they know it was already over its limit). BUT, they didn't offer insurance so if I broke it: I bought it.
At Vistek, they have a bit of a strange policy. They'll only rent you equipment if you can give them a cc number that has enough available credit to cover the entire cost of whatever it is you're renting. If I had THAT much credit, wouldn't it make sense to just BUY the thing???? |

GoldBerry, Sounds like me, if I got enough credit I'm buying it. Maybe thats why all my cc are over the limit. O well I have all I need for now. Although the wife just told me we have $500 left on the home depot card. Hmmmm let me think. What do I need from the Home Depot? HeHeHe

oh man you sound like me. I have to do something about my debt -- It's so depressing -- the phone rings and I'm immediately scared. Get out while you can, seriously! I think I'm past the point of help -- I need bankruptcy.
