I was looking at pickin up a 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor for my D70, and i wanted to know if anyone has one or any info on it. Thanks

50mm f1.8's are a no-brainer. Absolute bargains for their price and very good performance.

I have it and use it often. Great in low light, very sharp and the price can't be beat.
You can see some of the pics I used it for here The first 7 were taken with that lens. |

It's my favorite lens - there is no reason not to get it, for the cost it's simply brilliant.
