Any of you ever had this experience. I took some photos last night, got up this morning and took somemore. Downloaded to my PC..picked one from this morning for the Light contest and worked with it. Got ready to submit and checked the date stamp and it is stamped last night... Pics I took later today after clearing the card show todays stamp fine.. but the pics from this moring before clearing out last nights and this mornings all have yesterdays date. |

I just PM'ed you as well (in reply to your prior message but I'll post my reply here in case someone searches this problem in the future:
Have you checked to make sure your camera is not set 12 hours slow? This is an especially easy mistake to make if your camera uses 24-hour time. For example, right now it is 7:58 PM, or 19:58. Is your camera set for 7:58 AM, or 07:58? This would cause photographs taken in the morning to be datestamped the previous day.

It can't have anything to do with "clearing the card". Every time you take a pic the camera records afresh the time and date of exposure. You can leave a card in for weeks and have many different dates on your pics.
Most likely explanation; your time stamp is set to noon instead of midnight, you're 12 hours off.
