Had this rejected by shutterstock for "Lighting, shadow, washout, or lense flare problems.."

That's odd. I don't see anything of that. Lens flare?? Maybe they somehow wrote their comments for another image on yours...?

I think the comments they sent you were just general. The image is a bit flat/dark, maybe that's what they meant. It's still a nice image, just might be too dark for print. |

That is hilarious. I may just have to give that a go. I think it's a pretty evocative shot.

the photo is really nice for stock photography. I've had some excelent photos turned down for inapropriate reasons. I think that some of the people at istock would benifit from a good bran muffin.
