I shot mine yesterday. I think some people are going to really like this and some will hate it. I don't think anyone will be nuetral. I will probably get more tens and more ones then I have gotten on any other chalenge.

It started out with two 4s and a 5 giving me a 4.3333, but has slowly climbed to a 5.8. I think it will level off in a few days, just don't know where.

I'm new here as well and I couldn't be more excited taking part in this competition!
I'm a bit curious though - I have slightly over 30 votes already after 2 1/2 hours and a quite decent average score (I'm not gonna get a ribbon or anything like that though) - do scores have any tendency to rise or fall as voting continues? (I'd like to think that the most active users here are the first ones to vote and that those are more critical than the average user.)

I have found that after 30 votes its a bit early to call. When you get around 70 - 100 votes its probably a closer reflection of your end score.

This is a good question. I've only been active for a month or so, so I'm not too aware of voting patterns. I can tell you this, though, that the first 30 can have very little relationship to your final score.

The first several challenges I did started out with low scores that climbed slowly until the challenge end. Another one (Architecture II) started out strong (around 8) and then slowly fell through the following week. There doesn't seem to be any sort of consistency to it.

I figured I might add to my earlier comment that I have now received over 80 votes and the score is almost identical to the one I had after 30 votes. In addition I have received two quite encouraging comments!
This is more fun than I thought!
