The horse shot is great. Too bad they weren't farther from the fence so you could get them without the plowed snow. Great photo!

those are both great shots i like the 1 of the bird more but i'm a big contrast fan and the blue of the sky is very striking.

the horse 1 is nice too but not as much my style.

Both are just unbelievable photographs. I love the moment that is caught with one horse whispering secrets to the other! And the bird is just amazing once again in its detail and character.

Thanks fotodude. That bird was sitting in sun warming himself and he would not move ,he let me get right under him and just would not fly away even after I yelled at him I got about 20 shots off before I got to cold standing up to my knees in snow !I have been after a full flight shot of a red tail with a blue sky like that for some time and I thought I was going to get it but I was wrong .

Thanks .I was hoping that they would move back but they did not ,they were very friendly horses
