After replying to a thread that is say 4 pages long -- I suggest that once you hit Post -- it automatically takes you to the last page in the thread instead of back to the first.

| i think all you need to do is reverse the replies and it will do just what you're after. |

hrmm...reverse the replies -- I forgot that option existed. I'm not too sure I would like that. I'd have to read everything in reverse.
How many people read them in reverse?

I rarely have pages to flip through. I've set the number of posts shown to the max of 200.
I don't think I could read in reverse either...
