| Usually I get at least 4 or 5 comments or more each challenge. This time however I've only got one. And to be honest I'm doing better than I have ever done. Not that much better, I'm certainly not going to be winning any ribbons but still, comments seem very very slow this time around. Is it because of the big 500+ entry BOTY challenge? |

It might be that, cause in Best of 2004 I have received 21 comments but in architecture only 3 |

So far I have 15 comments,,, every one of them very helpful. Although I had hoped to do better with this photo, I am nonetheless very pleased as I do believe it will be the highest score I have garnered to date.
On a personal note although I did vote on every single entry,,, I still do not feel qualified to make any comments on the works of others and therefore limit myself to what could best be described as "Glowing remarks". |

| Well you sir are doing a great deal better than me! I vote on every photo in a challenge if I vote on one. I think that is only fair. I'm a fairly charitable voter too! :-) (Unlike most voters!!) You should feel free to comment. Its your opinion that is important when you've bothered to take the time to look at another persons work. It doesn't matter your experience or skill level as a photographer really wants to know how everyone (regardless of background or skill level) thinks of his or her work. I don't leave a lot of comments myself, but I try to leave a few each challenge that I vote on. |
