Nice shot. Great detail in the feathers. I have been swrmed by birds this morning, guess I should be out shooting? Good job.

Thanks hsteg.I tried to boost the contrast ,but then I lose his eye in the black feathers . |

Ive never done this, but you should maybe try dodging the eye after adjusting the contrast.

Rand,
How about this?
Selected the bird, inverted, blurred/desatted/levels in the BG
Reloaded the selection, did a little hue/saturation on the bird, and a little levels for more pop.
Selected the eyes by hand, feathered the selection, adjusted levels to pop them a little.

Thanx. Was a quickie job; the selection could be more precise, and would be if it were my own shot and in a higher resolution. Nice shot btw.

Very nice shot Randy. That's a Black-capped chickadee, as I learned when Judith Polakoof ID'ed this one for me
You certainly got a close-up. What lens were you using?
