I'm trying to get a nicer picture album to use as a wedding album I'm putting together for some friends of mine as a surprise gift. Where are some places that I might look for something nicer then I'd find in say, Walmart(if Walmart is the apex of nice albums I apologize). :)

I did my sister's wedding album and got her one of the fine art albums from Cornerstone Albums . It gets printed full bleed and bound just like a book, you can even get images on the covers. They have layout software for sale (basically PS Actions) that would make the layout really easy, but you don't need it. I just used Adobe Creative Suite so I could do the image editing editing in PS and the layout with InDesign. Can't use Elements because you have to upload CMYK jpegs for their printng process and PSE is only RGB. A 20 page album is about $250, that includes the printing. I was quite impressed with the quality and service, but if I was going to do these on a quasi-regular basis, I would consider getting the software actions or otherwise refining my workflow.
They also offer albums where you ship prints to them and they bind them into flushmount albums, but I have not personally seen one of those. If the fine art albums are any indicator, I would not hesitate to order one.

Venice (Art Leather I think) Albums are like $190.
Renaissance Albums are like $350.
Take your pick of price range.
