I was in the process of uploading and it didn't make it in (missed it by 30 seconds):(

Any comments and possible scores?

I like the idea and destat work? It was an open challenge anyways so would you have edited it different? Its spot edited isn't it?

Nice work, and interesting desat. I think it might be better with an offset crop better though; crop the water and leave the clouds, e.g., keep ing to the thirds. But I didn't simulate it and perhaps you did and the symmetrical crop works better.

I like the look and both are good. I like the first one better with more water in it. Good Job!

No spot editing, desat the blue and cyan of the sky and water by using hue/saturation, filtering with neatimage and sharpened in the original crop.

I really like the shots but might have dinged ya on the neatimaging. Anytime a shot has water like breeze across the ocean NR software tends to make flat areas in the water that really stand out.

Good shot though...you could have called it Bird Man of Alcatraz as well.

The blue/green muddy water just doesn't look good. So I went the desat route which cause some grain(seems people don't like it) so I applied some neat image which kind of made the island stand out almost like a 3D effect. This seems a lot better then the non-postproduction version.

I totally agree with the dinging on neatimaging pictures.

I like the full image and would have voted it a 6.
