| Hey neat photos, but why not use the full 640 size that you can? I would love to see these larger. |

Well the are 500pix and I´m not sure how much difference it makes. Well maybe some but the main reson is that I´m trying to spare my portfolio capacity. It´s easily filled. |

Where in Iceland are these Puffins? How far were you? What lens did you use?

I really like these and envy your opportunity. How close were you on the first one, and what lens did you use?
Good work,
Dick

Hey doctor. Thease images are shot on Latrabjarg on Vestfirdir which are at the NW part of Icealand. Actually this is the western limit of Europa and Latrabjarg is the most "bird populated" place on earth (hope I can make my self understandable here). In the "Iceland phototrip" threat I´ve highly recomended this place, it´s absolutly amazing but it´s far away from central.
It´s a shame that I didn´t have very good lens, Tamron 70-300mm f/4,0-5,6. But thease pufffinses are all over this place and you can almost reach for them. Guess I´ve been 2-3m (5-10 feets?) in thease shots. But I also have a headshots of them (post it soon) where I´m maybe only 1m (3 feets) away. |
