If I request the validation of an image, it would help me refine my internal perspective of what is legal to get some feed back: 1) DQ'd and rationale; or 2) Not DQ'd and why.

Thanks.

Someone elses image, or yours?

If the imnage is yours, you'll hear nothing unless it is DQ'd, in which case you will get a message teling you why it was DQ'd.
If the image is someone elses, eventually DQ's will be visible, which should enable you to check back and gain the information you seek.

How do you check that?

We won't really know how this will work until the visibility of DQs is enabled. I know there is some coding involved, so all depends on when the admins can complete coding & testing.

I'm curious how many DQ requests the SC gets and how many are actually DQ'd. Seems like a waste of the SC's time. Why not just let the SC request originals on images they think may think may be outside the rules and then after voting, the winners or top 5?

Tommy,

that would require SC to carefully look at every image with an eye towards ferreting out potential abuse. Why do that when you have hundreds of members doing the same thing for you? The current system seems easier on SC, to me.

Robt.

A very rough approximation is 4-12 requests/challenge, with about 1/4 to 1/3 actually being DQ'd.

Thanks general. Like I said, just curious.

Soon we'll all be able to see how close my guess is.

I would actually be interested to find out when my image is NOT DQ'd, but by a very slim margin of votes (you guys vote on this, right?). If many people, but not a majority, find something that i did on the image questionable, i would rather refrain from using those methods in the future.
