What I did was make a series of statements based on currently held stereotypes to point out how stupid hers was. Those of you outside Canada might not know about 'Newfie' jokes but they're analogous to 'Polish' jokes. I meant no disrespect to Newfies or anyone else. I was simply wondering aloud. I find it odd that obviously incorrect and generalised bigotry insulting a large group of people is OK, but pointed judgements based on some actual, positive evidence of prejudice is not allowed. Go figure. Don't bother debating it. It isn't worth the effort.
Just delete the whole thread. That way, it won't waste anyone's time anymore.

I know that I may not agree with everyone here...but I am entitled to my opinion. I assume the boy was "innocent" because I feel that 14 years old is a child. I understand that there are plenty of sexually active 14 year olds, but in my opinion that is because their hormones are so uncontrolled at that age. I feel like the teacher took advantage of that.
