I'm looking to clean my Canon D30 camera body, by a professional shop preferrably. I have some minor dust in the viewfinder, but it doesn't impact the photos at all.
I'm thinking of upgrading to the Canon 10D, then I can sell my D30. I'd like to have it in perfect condition before I sell it, right?
So... how much does it cost to clean a SLR? I had a quote for $85 by a shop here in Houston, TX. Good or bad?
And secondly... anyone looking to buy a pre-owned D30? *wink*

hehe... I was just checking on ebay for the going rate. Seems that used units are about $1000. Figures I'd lose $500 on this since i paid $1500. I couldn't expect to receive more than that. Maybe $1100 with a 50mm f/1.4 lens, which is nice. I still use my 28-135 IS lens more often than not.
It's in perfect working order... just has some tiny specs of dust in the viewfinder, which don't come out in the photos that I can tell. The only reason I want to have the unit cleaned is to have it in as perfect as possible for a potential buyer.
