I just got my new Canon 10-22mm lens, and for that lens I bought the Cokin P "wide angle" slim holder, some regular Cokin filters, and a Polarizer.
But I can't see how to get the polarizer into the holder. Does it not fit the wide angle holder? Which way does the filter go?
One way, it doesn't look like it stands a chance of fitting.
The other way, so that the part sticking out goes back towards the lens, it looks like the clips would scratch it.
HELP!

Clips? There shouldn't be any clips just a square piece of plastic. Make sure you also have P series filters, not just the holder.

I am talking about the circular polarizer; it's a special filter and not square. The square ones are easy.
I did figure it out. I have an older "A" system which has a round star filter so I used that to "jog my memory". There's a very thin extra slot for the special filters that's a bit wider than the normal slots. It's the one closest to the "base". And the extruding end sticks out.
Now if I can only figure out how to get the P adapter off the lens without it unscrewing my UV filter. (Yes, I know, I shouldn't keep that on--but I already put a finger print on the filter trying to fuss with the Adapter. Better there than the lens. (Plus it's a good B+W filter!)
Thanks.
