Heh, in case you haven't noticed (and it'll probably change soon) there are exactly 365 entries to the best of 2004 contest.
Member Challenge: Best of 2004
Rules: Advanced Editing
Submission: Jan. 1st - Jan. 15th
Submissions: 365

I can't come up with one single photo that I think was average enough. I'm losing hope for that WOW photo. :(
I keep saying to myself, "What was I thinking?"

However, there was 366 days last year ;o)

Hey, that's no way of looking forward!
Like your work, learn from it, try to fix it if you can.
And if you can't re-do/fix/improve - just treasure the memories each picture has for you.
Get the WOW picture you're looking for - this year!

| I got one feeling: my pic will be a disaster. Lots of pics, lots of entries and, probably, lots of good pics. Lots of great and amazing photographers here. At least, I know I´m going to see a lot of good pics and I can learn a lot thanks of your pics. |

question about submitting.........
i know we are not allowed to submit a photo already used in a challenge,
but what about a photo from the same series?
the photographer will no longer remain anon though? does it matter?

Oh, come on Marj! I've seen some wonderful photos from you, especially your cat and horse shots. Don't put yourself down. We can all improve, but pick your favorite and run with it! |

There's absolutely no problem doing this according to DPC rules. You can even bracket the same shot and enter them in simultaneous challenges, if you feel that the subject matter matches the challenge them well enough.
However, voters might remember the similar shots and vote down. |

It would have been really cool if had 364 1/4 entries (the actual # of days in a year for the less scientificlly inclined) |
