NOT about the end of Nicaraguan rebellion...
Every so often we get cloud conditions which give a colorful sunset opposite the sun as well...I shot these yesterday outside where I work. They are unaltered (for now!) except for resizing and rotating.
The first, facing East, was taken six or seven minutes before the one facing West. Altogether, I took about 25 photos over a 10-12 minute span.
There was actually a lot of color to the South as well, but too many buildings in the way... |

Love those colors! I have a couple of entries here where I used the sunset for the light in the East. Is it really called contra-sunset? That's so much easier to say than "sunset in the west, camera lens pointing east). |

I don't where the sun was at the time I took this, but it's a colorful sunset.

I don't know that it's called that for sure, but contra means "on the opposite side" so it made sense to me. I bet you see those colors modified in the near future... |
