Please critique:
Took these photos today (albeit on the wrong camera setting, at dusk, with no flash) and was wondering if I could get some comments and tips for improvement.

Hi There,
My suggestion on the technique:
To get the right white balance, take on picture of only snow, than use the custom white balance in the menu of the 10D and select that picture has your white reference. That would improved the white snow instead of grayish/blue

Thanks it will. It would also help if I wasnt taking the picture when it was almost dark out. LOL. The pictures were almost black, and I can't believe I fixed it as well as I did. Maybe when I get home I'll post a before pic... But I'll try that, thanks. Unfortunately though, the weather has been such that as soon as it stops snowing, it rains, and it all disapears. So I figured I'd take my chances with less then adequate lighting. |
