Hi, I was wondering, hypothetically speaking, if a portrait shot has lighting on half oh his or her face,with a dark background, would it be more appealing to you if the light was more of a golden tint or the black and white lighting? Here are some examples I've found of both:

(PS: I'm not really looking for critique on the images themselves, but more which tone would you vote higher if presented in a challenge.)

Thanks for the comment. Is there anything that makes you like it better? I'm not sure myself, but I've heard some complaints about the golden lighting on DPC.

I think it all depends on the emotion being captured, the color of light can help add punch to the shot if the right hue is used
