Reminds me of a movie poster. There was a movie poster contest in the Olympus Talk forum over at DPReview.com. Here are two I did.

Very well done!
I did not realize that creating movie posters was so popular :)
Where do you find all the nice fonts?
My font dir is filled with a lot of boring fonts.

Looks like I will have to add a big UFO in the background to spice it up :)

I'm not sure where exactly I got each font. I do have a couple editions of the Adobe Font Folio (they have thousands of fonts) and I often go searching for free fonts online. Fewer and fewer sites are offering complete font sets these days though. The Evil Dead fonts I remember picking up as a set. I pretty sure it was from one of the fan sites for the series. The studio logos I photographed off DVD boxes that I own. |

Wow! I just looked at your profile :) are you really 83 years old?
That is great. I wonder who the oldest person is on DPC?
Thanks for the great tips and etc. I will have to go through my font directory and clean it out or create one with just my favs. The windows font directory has always been a big trash can for software programs :)
I will also search and see if I can find anything with google.

No, that's not my age. Most of what's there is bogus and is only there to amuse me. It changes every now and again.
Too many fonts slows down your computer. If you have a lot I would suggest getting Adobe Type Manager. It allows you to create groups of fonts and to turn them on and off as needed. The only fonts I leave in the windows font folder are the core fonts. All of the others are manages with Type Manager. |

Font Garden has quite a few fonts (but an equal number of popups...you'll want a blocker). |
