I hope I'm not doing something inappropriate here, but since I'm a "grey" registered user at DPC I was not allowed to vote for this challenge. I looked at the photos and yes, the winning images are brilliant but I really really liked this one that came only in 13th place. I think it is both meaningful (double so) and shot from an angle that probably only the child herself got herself into, just love it! I wonder what other "greys" think of it?

WOw!!! Thanks a bunch for the great comments and well wishes. I don't think that too many portraits of children do all that well in here, but one day Gracie will win a ribbon! Hehehe!

i'm not grey - but i thought the idea behind the photo was quite good.
the treatment of the childs face turned me off - voted a 6.

I liked it too, it was one of my favorites :)
and I am sure she will be very proud of her daddy :) |
