I bought a deviantart account but really wish I hadn't bothered...the site kind of bugs me (I mean, all works of art are called "deviations"...cheesy) and it's a pain just to upload something. Everything's got to be dark...it's basically the opposite of dpc!
There's lots of neat stuff on there but I wish I had put my money towards a pbase account...

you could hve gotten an account for free as kind of a test drive first.
like any site, it has pluses and minuses
