bump...I'm unsure what the legal issues are behind selling a print of a recognizable stranger without a model release.
Personally, I wouldn't worry about it if it's just hanging on there wall but does anybody know what the law says in most countries?

Sell it to someone and you need a model release.
Allow someone to have the print hanging on their wall and you need a model release.
At any point where a model *could* decide that they do not want to be on someone's wall, if you have not acquired a release, then they *could* come back on you or the person. This includes spouses who someday may decide that they no longer have a partnership with you and in turn want to run you through the wringer any way they can.
