Made a simple photo of a bubble and played with photoshop applications for the first time really....wondered if anyone could give me any suggestions on doing a better job on my bubbles? :)

Any chance of seeing the original pic?
The colorful one is my favorite. the colors blend there better then they do on the other pics.
You can try maybe applying the colors to the bubble itself only. not to the foam all around it. Also, maybe a bit less then 100% of the color, to keep more of it's natural coloring.

Hi Adi, thanks for your reply on my bubbles...I shall definitely post the original one as soon as I can.

My boyfriend is formatting our PC and had to take all photoprograms of and now my original bubble is a little too bigger file to post I think...so once I have resized it, I will upload it.

And once the programs are back on to use I shall try the rainbow colouring on only the bubble, thanks for the tip :)

The focus seems soft throughout. Also there doesn't seem to be enough lighting.

Thank you David, I know, I am still trying to figure the lighting out...and without professional equipment it doesn't always seem to work. Very much appreciated you commenting on my bubbles

Here you go, the original file for the rainbow coloured one, I know soft focus...

Basically, levels to bring up contrast
Increased overall saturation
Reduced cyan saturation and lightness
Applied filter: optikverve virtual photographer 'ambient' setting and then deleted it around main bubble
Better or different??

Personally I don't find the soft focus to be bad in this picture. I like it this way. I mean - it's soap. I expect to find the softness and creaminess of it in the picture.
I am more annoyed with the reflection of... what is it? looks like some kinda keyboard?
I also like the original colors so much better then the PS ones.
I have taken the liberty to play with it a little bit. I hope you are not too mad at me... anyway, here's my suggestion:

The original image, cloned out the reflections on it, ran through auto-contrast, auto-levels, and USM of 40-50%, then just a little bit more contrast (about 10-15) and you have all the colors in the world!
I really liked it this way :-)

Edit: typos... as usual

Thank you Ben and Adi! :)

Cool! That is what my bubble can look like...I really need to learn how to use photoshop, if I wasn't too lazy to read the manual... :(

But I will get there in the end, thanks for taking the time to convert my bubble :)

Have a nice evening you two

Sandy
