OK I got your attention - sorry for that ;-)
Just looking for some comments - playing with my new toy (550ex and ST-E2) to fill flash the wall and gate.
I would appreciate any thoughts you have though.

nice capture the flash works well
but :)
I find the focus strange, I like the soft focus on the forground and the background but I think the gate should be in focus with or without the wall being in focus

Falc, I really like this shot. Why don't you explain how you got those results. Was the softfocus actually done in photoshop, or with the lens itself? |

Hi photomayhem, yes the soft focus is a photoshop thing. I duplicated the layer, set it to 30% opacity, then hit it with gaussian blur. The I added a mask to kill the blur on the wall and gate.
