Now that I have the 20D I have some left over gear from my Digital Rebel. I have a battery grip (NO extra battery included), RS-60E3 remote switch RS-60E3, and the RC-5 wireless remote.

I am looking to get $75.00 for all three. I don't have original boxes or paperwork. Just the hardware. If you are interested please let me know.

Would you sell just the battery grip? I already have both of the remote switch and wireless remote.

What is a battery grip used for - i have seen them on ebay but don't know anyone that has one.

Just to supply more power? would it not be easier and cheaper just to swap batteries when they get low?

Twice the battery capacity is good, I know you can just put in another battery, but it's good that you don't have to worry about it.

The main thing is though that I feel it makes the camera easier to hold. There are extra buttons on it and when you are using it in the portrait position the buttons come in really handy!

I'd definately recommend getting one!!

The battery grip holds two batteries, thus extending the amount of time before a battery change. The grip also has secondary shutter, exposure lock and focus point selection buttons that are easier to use when shooting in portrait orientation (camera on its side). Plus, it makes your camera look BADASS like this!

I just sent you an email but I will post it here as well. I will take them if they are still available. Let me know how you want the funds sent.
