I'm a little confused here.
I've seen a few digital photos lately, and they have a film speed typed in. . . I didn't know digital cameras had a film speed. How do you get the film speed info, I can't find it on the info printed on my Nikon 5700 prints!
Thanks for any info provided.

Look for the letters ISO on the side of your camera, if you push that button while turning the command dial on top you can change the light sensitivity of your camera. Just like changing film speeds in a conventional cameara. Just be careful, because same as film there is a trade off for faster ISO settings.

The values you see are equivilancy to film speeds. Most digital cameras can set the CCD to be more or less sensative to light. The more sensative a CCD is to light, the more noise you'll see in the picture.

There's some great examples at //www.dpreview.com just check out the review for about any camera, and you can see the differences
