Yeah - we'll need to go somewhere with Zimmer frame access...

The March dates are best for me too - mainly because midweek train fares seem to be ridiculously expensive, so I'd have to drive.

I'm still waiting for the full motor racing calenders for this year to be released, and I'd have to check that she-who-must-be-obeyed doesn't have a Karate grading before committing though.

Don't you live near Manchester? I could give you a lift...

Want me to put you down against any of the March dates yet or not?

Yeah why not. I know I won't miss any major meetings (first ones are early April), and I'm sure I could talk Izzy into a trip to the big smoke even if it means her missing a grading - if not I'll just come on my own!

Chorley. Just the other side of Bolton from you. Whereabouts in Yorkshire are you?

Am off to Tunisa some time in March - love of my life (ah!) tells me

Wed 2 Feb . . . = is good
Mon 7 Feb . . . = is good
Sat 5 Mar . . . = is not good xxx
Sun 6 Mar . . . = is not good xxx
Sat 19 Mar . . = is good

Only a short journey for me from Reading :-)

I'm in Huddersfield... I could come via Chorley, but it would be much easier if you could get to Huddersfield, which is the main train stop between Manchester and Leeds.

I can do any of the dates!

So, I'll go with the flow and hopefully meet up with MikeOwens on the train from Reading, I'll get on at Sunningdale.

Hope to have my DSLR by then???

Yup, I agree. The last thing you'd need would be a diversion up the back end of nowhere. Getting to Huddersfield would be no problem.

Great... we should get together for a shoot sometime anyway. Your photography was a huge inspiration when I joined DPC. :-)

The early March ones sound feasible to me - put me down for a definite possible ;-)

As of NOW this is how the responses stack up:

Wed 2 Feb . . . KF-Y, PF-Y, DH-Y, MO-Y, SJ-Y
Mon 7 Feb . . . KF-Y, PF-Y, DH-Y, MO-Y, SJ-Y
Sat 5 Mar . . . . KF-Y, PF-Y, DH-O, GG-Y, BR-Y, MH-Y, JL-Y, Ben?, SM-Y, PB-O, SJ-Y, KN-Y
Sun 6 Mar . . . KF-Y, PF-Y, MH-Y, JL-Y, Ben-O, SM-Y, PB-?, SJ-Y, KN-Y
Sat 19 Mar . . . KF-Y, PF-Y, GG-Y, BR-Y, MH-Y, JL-Y, Ben?, SM-Y, PB-O, MO-Y, SJ-Y

So I'm going to lose the three least popular dates and leave the two most popular ones up for additional responses... (see first post)

If you haven't already, please let me know which of the remaining two dates, 5th March and 19th March, you can attend.

SORRY if this means I've excluded the dates when you could attend - I am not playing favourites but going purely by the numbers...

Woo, I just noticed there's an Out and About forum which someone kindly moved my thread into? When did that happen? That's excellent!
Thanks very much!

I moved it here a couple of days ago, hehe :)
Since it's on a Saturday not a Sunday, it'll be harder for me to come, but I'll still try :)

You could always come without Jodie - won't she bored by all the photogeeking anyway?

Scary? You're gonna be going off to uni on your own soon - I promise a day trip to London on the train would not be scary! And just bring a good book or two to read!

Alternatively, see if Jodie can get a day off!

I don't think it's the train journey that's the problem. I'm twice his age and still too scared to meet you on my own ; )
