We're having another GTG!!!

I started with 5 dates and narrowed it down to the most popular, as below.

IF anyone else (not listed above) can make it please let me know so that we have an idea of numbers for food etc.

Are people only free on weekends or are weekdays a possible for any of you?

If it's weekends it needs to be fixed further in advance for me as I have a lot of commitments over coming weekends.

Will see volume of interest and then edit the first post to list a few possible dates and see which works best for most people...

I'm definitely up for another GTG! I might be able to squeeze a weekday during mid-late Feb, but otherwise I can only really commit to weekends, since I've no idea what work I'll be doing (if any) after the end of this month...

Flippin' 'eck. It's taken so long to find out train fares to London that this thread has vanished from the front page!

Me: I want to know what trains I can get cheap fares to London on.
Virgin Website: What date and time would you like to travel?

Aargh! Spend half an hour putting different dates and times in only to keep getting the same "no saver tickets available" response.
Change my start station from Preston to Manchester, both roughly the same distance from London, and bingo! Saver tickets sir? No problem (but only at weekends).

Ahhh, sorry about that. Had to vent. Erm, yes, I'm interested : )

provided we're not moving house the week that's selected, then i'm more than interested. i have loads of holiday left the nest six months, so a weekday or weekend is equally viable. I'm pleased someone has suggested this as it's something i've been thinking about quite a bit recently (even toyed with suggesting such GTG over the xmas break, but chickened out...). so yay!

Figured it's easier to work out an exact location once we establish the date and who is coming... the idea would be for all those coming to agree to one or more locations in London that we think would be fun to visit and photograph en masse PLUS the all important sharing a meal and drink (pub, cheap restaurant or such)...

We've had two in London so far (that I know about) and both were good fun... I've even sold some of the prints I took during one of them via DPC Prints! Would be good to meet you!

I can make any of the weekend ones, but not the weekday ones.
I can give anyone a lift down from Yorkshire, and don't mind going a little out of my way.
Would anyone in London be able to put me and possibly my wife up for the evening, in return for a stay in our house in Yorkshire? Some great photography up here...

Yes, you're both welcome to stay at ours... we're in North Finchley, near Junction 2 of the M1...
