Saw some squirrel pictures posted the other day. This one taken a few minutes ago, is not the most dramatic or that clear of a shot but none-the-less a fun attempt. Just shot the tail end (no pun intended) of this hawk and squirrel confrontation. To the left, just off the image are two large bird feeders. The hawk was there waiting for some birds to show up for his breakfast. . . the squirrel wanted the nuts from the wood pecker feeder. Lots of bravado, tail flicking and wing stretching, but nothing more. Comments appreciated.
