Congratulations perseverance pays off.
I think this challenge is going to score low I had an image that i was very excited about but it's sitting around 5.2 (not so excited now) but thats what it is all about seeing how other people view and rate your work. |

Way to go, akshay. Maybe a last minute bounce will make it a very nice score!
The voting patterns are perplexing. I started yesterday with maybe 60-70 votes, holding about a 5.6, and then received something like 20 fives (with maybe a couple of fours thrown in for good measure) and watched my score steadily decline to about 5.25. Then this morning I must have 5 sixes in a row, creeping back up... hope it continues!

Oh I know I do - the worst is when nothing's happening. I went into withdrawel by sitting out the two previous challenges. Can't wait for CANDID to begin. I'm sure that most of us have made horrible predictions about how our entries will fair, but even so, I think my CANDID shot will score a new high for me. BTW, who said UBS is a habit I would want to break :? DPC is a great way to spend a day at work! |

Good thing I'm working from home today otherwise my cube neighbors would think I've lost it (all the LOL)...well, maybe that's not too far from the truth! :-) |

Im really proud of my mechanics photo! I felt like I finally had a great shot...unfourtuntly, no one else seems to think so! :) Owell, lets see how the next few days go! Right?

No! Don't apologize, I thought it was funny too! My "better clear this up" was meant tongue-in-cheek.
As for being off work over the holidays, I only took vacation on Christmas eve (had Christmas off anyway). Thanksgiving to Christmas is actually a very busy time, but it slows down afterward (like, now). But even though it's a gov't job, we work 24/7 and 365. |

You are doing good. The first few challenges are tough, but then you get better at knowing what scores more at DPC :) |

Hey, I'll take all the 11s I can get! But seriously,if I am understanding your post correctly, I'm guessing that you might have factored in akshayvh's score of 5.1963 as if it were mine from when I quoted him. Or if not, I might have accidentally bumped a decimal place out of whack in between "copy" and "paste". Either way, it's the trend that counts... and unfortunately, the upward string has been interrupted.

This is only my 3rd challenge and I thought this was my best effort so far... I just hope I get above a 5 at the end as it`s hopping around that mark every time I take a look...LOL
