Hi,
I'm pretty good in photoshop, (I use adobe,) but I'd really like to know if anyone out there has any specific way to add the illusion of rain to a picture. These arn't for challenges so don't worry about the editting. :-)

I could put a filter over the picture with a low opacity, any suggestions?

Thanks!

You could add noise to a new layer and then use motion blur at whatever angle.

Hmm, can you not just warp the picture in photoshopn with a tool? I'm not at my home computer right now (I'm at work teehee) so I can't try it out...

I downloaded an action set a long time ago, simply called "Image Effects." I have no idea where I got it from but it contains a "Light Rain" action. If you want it, email me.
