No scores to write down, no comments to look at :( These are the first 2 challenges that I have missed since joining.
Suppose I'll have to keep on with the renovations of the roof.

So no ribbon for you.
I have two in the running..faces is at 5.14 and one vote on Mechanical..a 4. Not that i expect my last minute shot at something different (for me) to do all that well. I just didn't want to be like you and have nothing in the running.
Actually, since i am getting a dSLR in the next 2 weeks, i am just trying to wear out my Fuji. LOL
edit: second vote is a 3. Perhaps I should have sat this one out!

I'm done until the New Year myself, too much to do in this next week, unless a candid moment comes up that I wasn't expecting :)

Me too. I didn't have anything in, I wasn't going to enter, and I didn't think I'd get a shot for candid--but I couldn't stand the lack of anything to "watch" on DPC! |

Ahhh yes, Update Button Withdrawal. I know it well. Haven't had a submission since the 4th of December :(
I had good ideas for both Mechanical and Faces, but no time to execute either one. Well, OK, I procrastinated and ran out of time, LOL.

| I thought of entering the mechanics challenge with a photo that had an image on a monitor on a background and something in front non mechanical, as it seems it works to win ribbons but then i would not want to be wining fake ribbons, oh well!! |

I just took a coupe weeks off and it was nice. I found I was not so compulsive in my web browsing.
Also, it helps me refocus a bit to take pictures I like.
Of course, now I am in Mechanical and Candid, but I also think those were pretty fun.

I'm with you bro.
Same situation here. I actually had an idea for Hidden Faces that was so good it blocked all other ideas. That idea would involve driving 150+ km (each way = 300+ KM round trip) and my car is just about to die (clutch is almost worn out) and since it's a 1988 model I'm not gonna invest money in repairs. I have made arrangements for another car, but I won't get that car til after new year (and it's even an older one!)

Nothing for me either, I wanted to enter mechanical and had one or two vauge ideas but alas time got the better of me, I hope to get something in for candid and do have an idea but it depends on having the time over the weekend.
I miss my update button :(
