The thread on the current disaster was taking a political turn. I made my posting to end the diversion with a persuasive retort which no one with reason would have cared to reply, except to let the thread return to its natural topic. people are dead and are fighting for their lives.

While I chose this path you selected to use your censorship option and included me in the fray. Yes, I said that to divert this thread is sacriligous, however, the term is being used in its most universal meaning as an adjective. You jumped on it and refered to the post as religious. Even if one does not believe in God, I respect humanity and its suffering and to me every life is sacred. The secular may believe different and that is all right, but they are not going to uproot eons of expressions that have been such an integral part of mankind.

It is okay, the S/C has the expressed power to censor but it does not mean that the judgment is always sound. In this case, it would have been best to wait and see the outcome.

Feel free to expuge this posting after reading. Even when we try to do the right thing by using cencorship there are always consequences. this letter is being sent open because this was the environment in which the censorship occurred.

Daniel,

Your post was deleted because it was in reply to another post which was also deleted. Without the context of the original post, your post would have made no sense and caused confusion. All replies to the offending post were deleted for that reason (a total of 3).
