Took my new baby out for a spin on the BEAUTIFULL island of Maui. I think that this lens is awsome and when used with nikon capture you can stretch the picture out and get some amazing effects. Im now still in Hawaii but on the BIG island and staying at the Hilton beech resort so if anyone feels like showing me around the sites please PM me..

Greetings from Oahu.. You images are beautiful! How's the weather where you are? It's been really poor here. Last week Tuesday and Wednesday was rainy. Thursday was nice. Friday was rainy. Saturday nice. Sunday-Monday was rainy again.

Looks like you're enjoying your trip! Please share the rest of your images and if you need a tour guide on Oahu, LMK. :)

Any opinions on the above pics is greatly recieved.. Edidting was done in Nikon capture USM colour boost and a bit of levels adjusting but not a lot of work needed i thought.

Just love your shots. Not much to add other than they are beautiful. Looks like your weather on Maui was tons better then here on Oahu. Overcast and lots of rain. Enjoy the remainder of you trip on the Big Island. Hope you get to Volcano, it is a great place for photos. Aloha, Renee

Man I am so jealous of you with the 10.5 fish eye, that is so good!

I like them all but especially the beach scene.

Nice shots, Spike! You got a sweet lens there. And I'm glad you picked Hawaii instead of Phuket for this trip.

Thanx gurilla for nice comments..

Philip, lucky for me I had no choice with this job but it could of so easily been in Thailand as I was there earlier in the year and we have clients there too. Thanks for the concern. Can't wait to get back and have this Japan meet should be a nice thing before I have to fly off to UK on the 21st January.

You seem very well travelled. I would die to go to Japan! Enjoy the weather while you can, we've had maybe 2 days of sun this past week. Happy travels and a safe trip home. Aloha!

Hi, Spike,

It seems that you're having a whale of a time in Hawaii. Nice shots, too.

Here's a Japanese joke.

Why are there no dentists in Waikiki?

Ha wa ii kara.

There was a Photoshop plug-in I had ages ago that was a demo version if I remember the name of it I'll pm you, but it was not as good as the real thing and I can remember it also putting the pictures out of shape too. Does Canon not make a fisheye lens yet? I thought they had just released their version to the Nikon 10.5mm but it may of been the 12mm and i guess the extra 2mm makes a huge difference..

Would be interesting to see the shots from a 12mm

another i took at the airport of one of the tour guides.

Too bad you're wasting your time in sunny Hawaii, Marac. We're having a huge snowstorm here in Tokyo and you're missing all the fun. ;-)

I love fisheye photos. I'm definately going to have to get one some day if I can ever save up enough for a dslr.
