| I was just told that Canadians now need a passport to travel to the USA. I am slated to travel to Seattle in early January. Is there any truth to this?? |

I'm not sure about this but I can tell you that they highly encourage US citizens to have a passport to travel back and forth to Canada. If you do not they allow two other forms of ID, normally a birth certificate and a drivers license, but your likley to get more questions and delays. It makes my trips easier when going back and forth through US customs to bring my passport. I do it a fair amount as we live in Anacortes, WA which is just a hop, skip and a jump from the border.
