| I have tried to submit my photograph for this week's challenge twice but it keeps showing a little box with a red x instead of my picture. Does this mean that there is a problem with it? It is in jpeg form, 640x480, and is only 138kb. Am I missing something? Thanks for your help! |

Yea, make sure there are no punctuation marks in the file name. I had an apostrophe in one a while back, and had to resubmit like 8 times before someone told me that little trick.

We'll fix this soon, I promise... it's just an issue with the UNIX box not liking certain characters. Go with straight, alphanumeric characters until we get a workaround.

| I had the same problem on the geocaching website when I tried to place a travel bug photo, kept getting that X. I tried asking how to fix that on there but no one could help. I saw this thread and I changed the file name and re-uploaded it and now it works. Thanks!! |
