I was voting in the Holiday challenge, and I meant to vote a 4 on a softly focused ornament (I don't think that gives the photo away), and I got distracted and my hand inadvertantly hit the favorite button. It doesn't show up yet on my profile as a favorite. What is the proper thing to do? Should I learn to love it? I know how nice I felt when someone game me a favorite (I only have one). And if they saw it, I would hate to take it away. help |

I know it̢۪s a hard decision. But no I don̢۪t think you should learn to love it as you say. When voting is over it will appear in your profile and you can delete it. Now for the photographer, you may want to send him or her a PM [after voting is over] explaining what happened. I think they would enjoy your honesty more than the favorite you clicked by mistake. I know if someone clicked one of mine as a favorite by mistake I would be pleased if they PM̢۪ed me and let me know it was a mistake instead of having me believe someone enjoyed it.

If you go back to the voting page for the image in question, the "Add this photograph to your favorites" link has been replaced with "Remove this photograph from your favorites."
Click that link and you should be all set.
