First off, I respect the SC's decision to DQ my photo.
But I have a couple of questions:
1) Does this mean that I am banned or anything from future challenges?
2) Does being DQ'd that mean that my photo gets deleted from my portfolio?
3) Even though it was DQ'd, is there no way to see my final vote tally?
I realize that I misinterpreted the rules regarding adjustment layers, but I would still like to be able to view my photo's voting results and comments for learning's sake.
I have learned more about photography from this site than any other resource thus far. Although there might be some name calling in the forum at times, I still am totally addicted. I have become a huge fan of kiwiness, heida, Dr. Jones, jmseltzer, graphicfunk and others. I can only hope to aspire to their ability.
Thanks!

1) No, the DQ only affects that one entry.
2) Yes, the entry will not be visible in your portfolio. However, you are welcome to upload the image into your portfolio as a normal image.
3) No, the image loses it's vote tally upon DQ.

Hi Jim - Not sure if this is the right place (forum choice) to ask this question...but, could you tell me what you did specifically using adjustment layers to get DQ'd? I ask because I'm trying to learn how to use the various (way too numerous) features of PSP 9, of which one is layering. Thanks. |
