What filter brands do you recommend? I need to get a UV/Protecter, graduated neutral density and a circular polarizer for my Nikon 80-400 VR.
Whats the best place to get them? Im think probably from B&H Photo. |

B+W are usually considered to be very good. Get the multicoated ones, even if they cost 10USD more, far less risk of flare. I you can only afford a few, get the CPL and UV.

I personally have a set of TIFFEN filters (UV, Circular Polarizer, 812a Warming Filter and Enhancing Filter) that I found for a good price on AMAZON.com. After some research, i feel they are the best buy for the money. That's just my opinion. I purchased from Amazon because it was less expensive than the actual retailer which was ADORAMA. Here is a link to their site

You may want to check out this thread, especially the sample photos in link I posted that compares "low cost" filters to the more expensive, multi-coated filters. There is a reason good filters are more expensive. (Personally, I use Hoya SuperHMC Pro-1 filters on all my L-glass.)
