There was a time when the Mac dominated in the graphics world but I think that time is long gone.

The domination may be gone, but they are at least equal. I work at a small-medium size printer (19x25 inch/4-color) and we still do some service bureau work for other printers. The files we get are still 70-80% Mac-based.

Fow a real laugh, you should know that the RIP -- the software that takes the PostScript files and tells the imagesetter where to shoot the laser -- runs on a Power Computing Mac Clone running OS 7.5.3! It causes perhaps the fewest problems of any machine in the shop.
