Unfortunately, it didn't seem to help my Yellow score ;)

It has not cleared from me. Does anyone know when it will?

I think the comment itself was removed but not the actually Comment number. For mine I see one extra comment on the counter but don't actually have that number of comments.

should we be able to see how people are voting before the challenge is over??

If you go to your preferences page, and tick the 'My Scores' box, you'll be able to see your current score and comments for your entries in a box on the front page (which will update on the hour).

The comment is still showing under my comments.

I have nearly the same comment on my Yellow entry: "lousy theme and subject matter, poor composition and technique." Posted by opaljag about an hour and a half ago, and the comment is still visible in my comments list beneath the photo.

"lousy theme and subject matter, poor composition and horrible technique"

Can you imagine having so much time and so little to do that you have to try to hurt innocent people with this? This guy needs counseling or medication or both!

He got me, too. What a jerk. It makes me think twice about submitting. But most comments I receive are helpful.

Misery loves company,,,,,,Yes indeed he got me also. This is my very first experience with DCP and I am ever so glad that I have had the opportunity to read threads and exchange views with some of you wonderful folks, otherwise, a comment like this would surely have a severe impact.

As my father used to tell me, "Any idiot can take a watch apart, but the smart folks know how to put them back together". Bet you can't imagine which category I just put Monsieur opaljag in.

The very fact that such a bad comment would stand out just demonstrates the classy nature of the overall site. Keep submitting. The malcontents come and go, but thay can't diminish the value of DPC.
