I am very pleased with my score and placement for:
but I am curious if BW would have finished better?

or

I debated and switched my entry several times. I just wondered if I made the right decision.

I like the tighter crop, especially if the wall is your subject. In your original, the church grabs my eye. I do like the BW of the tighter crop and the way you can really see the reflection in the water.

Edit: This would have scored very well.
