I want a flash but I just don't know what to buy. I looked for sunpak but they don't appeal me. I looked Metz and I'm really interested in the 44 series but I don't know if it's really any good. I find the recycle time to be very long... Is there somebody who could give me good advice on this one or any other good one?

Dosn't sony make a dedicated Flashes for your camera?
probably worth a look if it gives you ttl metering etc...
Asside from that I've used vivitar and sunpak 'generic' flashes in the past and found them good to work with. Also Nikon make some good flashes that will work with any camera ('Auto' mode, not ttl). A second hand SB-24 would be good if you don't mind some manual settings...
Cheers, Me.

Proprietary flash units would be my first choice....however, ProMaster and Sigma would be worth a look as well. |
