Still learning the tools of editing. Recently discovered the impact of adjusting contrast.
Photo was taken early morning last summer. |

looks to be a bit over saturated.
te red area in the lower part is kind of distracting.
what did you use to adjust the contrast?

PS elements
simply adjusted the brightness and contrast bars
do not recall any specific saturation adjustments
The bottom red is actually a reflection off of water. There is a small opening through this brush stand where the waterfowl come up on the land. This is a 23 acre swamp (or wetland to some). Lots of wildlife activity.
Appreciate the comments. One never knows how others see things, unless they they say. |

it may be the brightness adjustment that put it over the edge.
what percentage did you raise it?

Lately I've been sliding to a plus 15-25 on various files. I'm guessing on this shot I may have been in the 30's. The colors were just jumping and I was trying to optimize that. Sounds like a bit of a tone down would be an improvement.
